Wendy Galgan is Assistant Professor in the Department of English at St. Francis College in Brooklyn, New York. She received her Ph.D. from the CUNY Graduate Center in Manhattan in June 2009.
She is editor of Assisi: An Online Journal of Arts & Letters, which is published twice yearly by St. Francis College. You can find the latest issue at: www.stfranciscollege.edu/academics/Publications/assisi.

Academic Interests
Wendy's areas of interest include women's poetry, contemporary American poetry, women's studies, pop culture studies, film studies, and genre literature (SF, horror, alternate history). She is a published poet currently at work on her first collection of poetry.
